Through strategic in-store communications and a deep understanding of shoppers’ motivations, our client is successfully creating intuitive shopping experiences that transform shoppers into buyers. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

Reporting directly to the Account Director, the incumbent is mainly responsible for (but not limit to) the following:

*  Build and manage client relationships on many levels
*  Understand client’s objectives and goals and ensure available resources are devoted to clients
*  Communicate key client information and direction to company on continuous basis
*  Manage agency and client expectations to ensure alignment in work process and work deliverables
*  Understand key operational functions and timing
*  Ensure that work is delivered accurately and in line with client objectives
*  Establish and achieve quarterly revenue and service goals
*  Provide monthly progress reports and forecasts to VP/Account Services
*  Ensure that we have all necessary records of jobs to expedite billings and payment

*  Formulate plans to extend business with established accounts
*  Supervise and participate in new-business development
*  Ensure agency engagement with the client in driving customer marketing planning
*  Provide strategic direction to client relationships and customer marketing focus
*  Provide and communicate key service principles
*  Gain consistent client feedback through formal evaluations and respond appropriately
*  Collectively develop tactical plans, review progress and drive accountability
*  May directly manage Account Executives

REQUIERMENTS

*  Minimum of 5 – 7 years of agency experience preferred
*  Experience working in packaged goods in account-specific marketing preferred
*  Experience and competence on shopper marketing and respective channels
*  Experience leading and building team
*  Bachelors degree in Marketing, Advertising or related field required
*  Advance degree preferred
*  Experienced with FMCG & / OR Electronics category is a plus
*  Should have understanding of the CHINA – or at least BJ/northern China – retail environment (can be in merchandising, in/out of store promotions, in-store tactics, very basic understanding of store operations and extra)
*  Should know well the BJ environment – this person will need to be directly efficient in his/her environment
*  Fluent in mandarin and English
*  Good reporting skills both spoken and in writing
