Accessing Twitter from China via Linkedin (Proxy/VPN not required).
Accessing Twitter from China via VPN or proxy takes forever, so recently I discovered a way to get around it by accident. This happened while I was tinkering with my Linkedin account, and discovered that Linkedin’s twitter plugin “Tweets” will allow you to access Twitter direct from China sans proxy/VPN.
This is pretty cool, as now I’ve got two social networks in one interface, without the need for s…l…o…w VPN access. All I need now is a Facebook plugin and I’ll be back in SNS heaven with Linkedin cutting a hole through China’s great firewall.

Just saying that the GFW are surely going to jump on this.

That’ll take time; GFW still in process of killing off it’s second wave of home grown microblogs.

My VPN isn’t slow. I use Witopia.net. (I’m not affiliated with them.)

There is no any problems with speed, all is really fast, even VoIP works without problems.

You can use “Hotspot Shield” free vpn to a href = “http://www.accesstwitterfromwork.com/” = “Access Twitter From Work”>access twitter from work as it allows you to hide your IP address assigned by your Internet Service Provider or ISP. Therefore, it protects your data traffic from being spied upon.
