Perhaps the best recipe for fun is a mix of being smart, being cheap, and being bored. Posted today is a few pictures from Pizza Hut China; wherein customers have turned taking advantage of Pizza Hut’s “one trip to the salad bar” policy into a science. I’m not exaggerating, I’ll actually show you the mathematical formulas used to create salads that go about 2 feet (half a meter?) high.
There’s a bit of social commentary to be found here; cause this really is one of those things you’ll only see in China. When you mix serious math nerds with no money and plenty of time this is what you get; an outcome that clearly breaks the rules, without technically breaking them (cause its still all on one plate; from one trip). Perhaps sheds light on a facet of Chinese rebelliousness, which always tends to be mischievous rather than outright conflicting; bending rather than breaking.
So you want to create your own gigantic salad to impress the date you brought to Pizza Hut with your charm and creativity (and save a few bucks in the process)? Read on fellow nerd, and bask in the glow of greasy greatness.
This ones a little artistic; great color contrast with multi-tiered carrot sticks foundation; oranges on top complement ensemble bringing the piece together; kinda like Jabba the Hut with an orange hat.

Very geeky, guess that’s why people say creativity comes from life.
(I will definitely marry to a date that builds this tower of love only for me…but guess he will be put into blacklist of pizzahut for the rest of life)
Pizza Hut or future husband? This is a choice we must all face; because husbands may come and go, but deep fried pizza stays with you forever.
Comparing comfort food with the love of your life??
hmm….
Good luck veronica!horhor
I got it. For a woman, you should learn the knowledge and be the engineer to build your own life instead of depending on a man for it, for even you can’t design a high-rise, you can still put something together in pizzahut in whatever pattern, besides, it’s nearly free and eatable!
Exactly!
For a smart and capable girl like you, men can always be an “awefully chocolate” cake that we enjoy occasionally, and more importantly, we get to make the decision of when, where and how to enjoy it.
No offense, Rand!
