Hello all, we’re looking for a digital director over at ResonanceChina.The company is growing fast, and we need responsible managers that know how direct groups of 5-10 people, procure and QC vendors, and have a general “jack-of-all-trades” mentality that allows a lot of flexibility in the digital space.

How much is the salary? Ya, that would be the first question in my mind too. Well we’re offering a pretty decent sum (you’ll need to click through to find out); but more, its an opportunity to join a quickly growing company in a hot new industry. Digital Director (Full time).

ROLE:

The Web Master is considered to be one of our most important roles.  The responsibilities will include overseeing the management of our web project schedules, ensuring technical bugs are being solved, liaising with client on technical and web flow concerns and keeping the general flow for project development.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop project plans specifying goals, requirements, strategy, scheduling, identification of tasks, and technical specifications;
  • Ability to take initiative and control of web management issues, professional liaison with outsourced development/technical providers, liaising with clients technical department
  • Technical ‘know-how’ to immediately respond to technical bugs/problems in web projects, ability to articulate problems for responsive solutions either by yourself or through technical support
  • Professional management of web projects to completion – being the ‘go to’ person for any technical problems
  • Knowledge to advise on client web projects, confidence to take control when required and responsible to take ownership of project technical flow
  • Analyze and define new and improved workflows and best practices for development, content publishing and seeding strategy;

QUALIFICATIONS & EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree is required
  • Chinese native language + good English skills
  • 3+ years management experience – ie: managed a web project to completion
  • Basic programming knowledge
  • Familiar with digital marketing principles and practices
  • Familiar with WordPress, CSS, Ajax and popular CMS systems
  • Familiar with China major SNS channels (Kaixin, Renren, Douban, Tianya, Onlylady, Yoka, etc.)
  • Ability to plan, organize, analyze, and establish priorities and resources to achieve results
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work professionally under pressure
  • Ability to work independently within a team-oriented environment
  • Detail and results oriented

SALARY:

Negotiable around 10,000-12,000 RMB/month gross + bonus; probation is required.
